NIGELLA LAWSON FILM CHOSEN BEST IN ENTERTAINMENT

LOS ANGELES -- “Nigella Express,” a film supporting the launch of Nigella Lawson’s new cookbook on fast and simple recipes, won Best of Festival-Entertainment at the 2009 U.S. International Film & Video Festival. Lawson is a celebrity chef from London.

The film was produced by Pacific Television, London, for Food Network USA. The book is published in the United States by Hyperion.

The judging panel from the International Quorum of Motion Picture Producers was coordinated by Vern Oakley, CEO of Tribe Pictures, Chatham, N.J.

The Festival received more than 1,000+ entries in all categories from 22 countries. Clips from the winners and nominees and other winners in the 2009 film festival can be viewed here. The U.S. International Film & Video Festival was founded in 1967.
