BEAR COMPANY INSPIRED WINNING TRAINING VIDEO
A training program based on the corporate philosophy of The Vermont Teddy Bear Company has won an international award for its producer, Jack Wilson of JWA/Video of Chicago.
The DVD developed as part of “The BEAR Essentials of Business” program received a third place Certificate of Excellence in the 2006 U.S. International Film And Video Festival. The festival, now in its 38th year, had entries from 30 countries.
Wilson has produced training videos since 1985 and has 180 in his catalog. He got the idea for the “BEAR” training program from his experience as a customer of the Vermont company.
Teddy Bear employees, including CEO Elisabeth Robert, are featured in the 19-minute video shot at the company. It was released last August.
Robert joined other Teddy Bear employees in explaining how Benefit, Empowerment, Attitude and Respect (BEAR) combine into a winning work ethic that strives to never disappoint customers but to exceed customer expectations.
