CALL FOR ENTRIES ISSUED FOR WORLDWIDE FILM FESTIVAL

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - The 2004 U.S. International Film And Video Festival has begun accepting entries for its 37th annual competition, which deadlines March 1, 2004.

Productions created or released up until the March 1, 2004, deadline are eligible for the competition. This includes Business, Television, Documentary, Entertainment, Industrial and Informational projects.

The event last year drew more than 1,500 entries from 28 countries. The 2003 Best of Festival "Grand Prix" award was won by RC 1 Regine Cardin Productions in Paris, France, for a film designed to boost the image of the Paris Chamber of Commerce. It was among five nominees for Best of Festival.

Other nominees, all of which were Gold Camera Award winners, were "Mighty Times: The Legacy of Rosa Parks," produced by Teaching Tolerance for the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Ala.; Clariant GMBH of Sulzbach am Taunus, Frankfort, Germany, for its "Innovations" film on the company's Pigments and Additives Division products; BM8 GmbH of Hamburg for a production for DaimlerChrysler AG's release of the new Mercedes E-Class station wagon; Jack Morton Worldwide of London for the United Kingdom Department for Work and Pensions film for employees.

A total of 64 Gold Camera Awards and 92 Silver Screen Awards were given in 52 categories or sub-categories during ceremonies in June. U.S. International Film And Video Festival is recognized as one of the world's leading events for Business, Television, Documentary, Industrial, and Informational and Entertainment productions.
