DECO MEDIA WINS GOLD AWARDS IN INTERNATIONAL FILM FEST

LOS ANGELES CA., USA - Deco Media Oy Ltd. of Helsinki has won a Gold Camera award in the 2003 U.S. International Film And Video Festival. The award, in the Safety-Employee Oriented category, was "Last Time," done for Fortum Ltd., Espoo.

The competition drew more than 1,500 entries from 28 countries. A total of 64 Gold Camera Awards and 92 Silver Screen Awards were given in 52 categories or sub-categories. The awards were presented June 6 during ceremonies in Manhattan Beach, Calif.

The safety program focused on the high-risk situations and accidents in production plants.

The competition is in its 36th year and is recognized as one of the world's leading events for Business, Television, Documentary, Industrial, and Informational and Entertainment productions.

Lee W. Gluckman Jr. is chairman of the U.S. International Film And Video Festival. He also is chairman of the Mobius Advertising Awards Competition held each February.
