Educational Game Receives Top Award
On September 10, the Grand Prix and Gold Camera awards ceremony for “Olive Green” by SuperMemo took place in Poznan, Poland. Lee Gluckman, president of the US IF&VF festival, awarded the Best of Show-Grand Prix and Gold Camera statuettes for “Olive Green” by SuperMemo to Krzysztof Biedalak (right in photo above), Board President of SuperMemo World, and Mike Saraswat, on behalf of the Ekstasy production company. NHK, a top winner, receives awards
Yasuaki Okamoto accepted Japan Broadcasting Corp. (NHK) and NHK Educational Corp.’s top awards for “Mimicries – The Secret of Black and Yellow,” an educational program for pre-school and kindergarten that won a Gold Camera award and was selected Best of Festival-Education. The awards were presented at the Tokyo office by Lee Gluckman, chairman of US International Film & Video Festival.

GMA Film on ALS Wins International Award
A film highlighting the struggles of families caring for victims of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease) has won the One World award in the 2015 US International Film & Video Festival. “Front Row: ALS,” produced by GMA Network Inc., Quezon City, was selected by a panel of judges from the International Quorum of Motion Picture Producers (IQ). IQ sponsors the award, which is given to a production that creates greater awareness of a worldwide issue.
