2007 Best of Festival Winners
Festival honors 4 as ‘Best’ in their categories

Productions from Sweden, Hong Kong, The Netherlands and the U.S. International Film And Video Festival were selected as Best of Festival winners in their categories in 2007’s U.S. Film And Video Festival.

They are:

  • “Accessibility NOW”-Corporate, produced by Animech AB, Uppsala, Sweden
  • “Anti-Drug Files – Lost & Found”—Educational,  from Radio Television Hong Kong,
    Hong Kong
  • “The Old Windmill Shop,” Entertainment, by DeKroon, Wissenraet & Associés, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
  • “The Battle of Chernobyl,”—Documentary, Discovery Networks International,
    Silver Spring, Md.

“The Battle of Chernobyl” also won the “One World” award presented by the International Quorum of Motion Picture Producers to a work that best represents international cooperation.

The U.S. International Film And Video Festival competition celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2007 with winners from 23 countries. The festival’s screening of winning works and awards ceremony was held in June at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles.

The festival granted 69 Gold Camera awards, 79 Second Place Silver Screen awards and 140 Certificates for Creative Excellence.  

The U.S. Film And Video Festival was founded in 1967.
