Founded in 1967
The U. S. International Film And Video Festival was founded
in 1967 and is one of the world's leading international events
devoted exclusively to recognition of outstanding Business,
Television, Documentary, Educational, Entertainment, Industrial
and Informational productions.
What sets us apart
The Film Fest grants Gold Camera, Silver Screen or Certificate of
Creative Excellence awards. Winners are selected on the
effectiveness of purpose and creativity not just numerical
scoring. As a result, the top award in a category is not
necessarily a Gold Camera, but may be a Silver or Certificate
winner. Conversely, more than one Gold, Silver or Certificate
may be presented in a category.
Best of Festival Award
Each year, "Best of Festival" (Grand Prix) awards are presented to
an outstanding entry from among the Gold Camera winners in the
main categories. These winners are selected by members of The
International Quorum of Motion Picture Producers (IQ), a global
peer network of production company owners.
Lifetime
Achievement Award
The Festival also has a "Lifetime Achievement Award," which is
presented to those individuals who have made significant
contributions to the industry. This award is not given annually.
One World Award
This award is presented by the International Quorum of Motion
Picture Producers for an outstanding film that expresses
international cooperation.
Awards Gala
Historically, awards are presented each June during an Awards Gala
in Los Angeles. Seminars and workshops are also held.
Headquarters are in Redondo Beach,
California, USA.
We invite your participation in our yearly international competition.
